Yamaha have a wide range of motorcycles in their range. They have a strong background in racing and currently you will find Valentino Rossi tearing up the racetrack on Saturdays and Sundays on his Yamaha R1 based Race Bike. They build Road Racing Bikes, Pure Sports Bikes, Adventure and offroad Bikes and they have a very popular Scooter range too.

Yamaha SuperSports Range

The High Performance range include some of the following SuperSport bikes.. YZF R1 SuperSport Bike - YZF-R6 SuperSport Bike - YZF-R125 SuperSport Bike

Yamaha Sport Roadster Range

Sport Roadster is a catagory that is growing in popularity. They are carachterised by massive engines that produce huge torque for hard hitting acceleration, a sports chassis that can handle the corners and outrages exhausts and ooutlandish styling that’ll stop the traffic. .. MT-01 V-Twin - MT-03 Super Single

Yamaha Sport Touring Range

Then there are sport-touring motorcycles, a category created for the middle-aged rider who prefers a more aggressive bike than a cruiser or full dresser, but does not want the hardcore riding position of the more aggressive sportbikes like GSX-Rs and Duke 916s, which after a few miles, leave your back sore, arms stiff and wrists acking. An easy way to tell if a manufacturer intends a bike to fall within the sport-tourer category is to look for an "S" or a "T" somewhere in the bike's name. Specific bikes in this catagory which could be thought of are: Honda VFR800i Honda's ST1100 and BMW's R1100RS, amongst other. This catagory of motorcycle are quick off the mark, comfortable on longer trips and generally touring bikes that handle with the agility of Super Sports Bikes. Yamaha include the following in thier sports touring range.. FJR1300A - The grand tourer - FJR1300AS

Yamahas' FZ Range

When it comes to leading the pack then I recon that the FZ was one of the best market leaders in its class. I owned a 86 FZ750 which as many will know was the bike that was destined to launch the Exup! Smooth power delivery, comfort that only a 750 machine can deliver and speed that was way more than one should expect from a 95 - 105 bhp motorcycle made this old gorl of nearly 21 years old as much fun to ride in 2008 as anyone could have had in 1986. There were two complaints though and this is how I saw it..
  1. The brakes were too soft
  2. The power just alittle too smooth for me
  3. The rear wheel was too skinny
Apart from that, it was cheap to run and looked as good as the day it rolled off the production line. FZ1 / ABS - FZ1 Fazer / ABS - FZ6 S2 - FZ6 Fazer S2 / ABS

Yamaha Street Style Class

Th Yamaha Corporation have a terrific range of bikes in this catagory from the WR250X Liquid cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve, forward inclined single cylinder motor which is a no-compromise Supermoto based on their winning WR-F and YZ-F racers and is build for extreme fun on city streets to the XJR1300 muscle bike with its massive 1251cc air-cooled engine and is packed with cutting-edge technology. The XJR1300 is powerfully built, with an awesome chassis and in-your-face engine architecture. Weighing in at 225kg this is a bike for the bigger rider and the XJR has a reputation that it deserves. Apart from that, it was cheap to run and looked as good as the day it rolled off the production line. XJR1300 - TDM900 - XT660X - WR250X
